After braving the Blue Lagoon and Azure Window crowds, Ghar Lapsi is the ideal spot for swimming in Malta's pristine waters. A tiny inlet and small fishing village, this is the place to experience Maltese summer like a local. The calm waters and rocky shore are a safe haven for fish, making this a fantastic spot for snorkeling and diving. A small cafe provides simple dishes and the perfect perch for relaxing the afternoon away.
Buses infrequently visit the hamlet, so if you're adventurous, hitch a ride with a friendly local driver after you've explored the nearby Mnajdra temples. Just don't forget your bathing suit, although that didn't stop us from jumping straight in!
