At breakfast it was a sunny day, thus we decided to go up to the Gemmi Pass. It was not our idea only, and the cable cabin left from every 1/2 hrs, last one at 5 p.m. Once up there at 2350 meters, it was the cold wind that greeted us, the empty glacier lake, rather dry vegetation and finally my husband could be convinced not to go to paragliding up there, the winds being far too unpredictive. We warmed up inside the restaurant and then I went outdoors take some panoramas, and this is one of them. Can you spot the torrent (easy) and then Matterhorn (difficult task) ?
Be advised to take good footwear and outdoor jackets, shawls and gloved with you up there!
There is not much to do: if you are brave enough, You could walk around the lake
