Watch "Polkagris" Being Made

This shop, in the heart of the Old Town of Stockholm, sells nothing but old-fashioned candy canes and hard candies in all sorts of different flavors—from classic peppermint to blueberry, wild strawberry, licorice, cloudberry, and more. These are the perfect souvenirs to take home—not bulky, easy to pack, and a great consumable treat that people will actually enjoy (forget tacky knickknacks that just gather dust). The highlight of the store is the workshop, where staff hand-roll and hand-cut the candy canes behind a pane of glass so shoppers can watch the process. It feels like peeking into Santa's workshop.
