For HQ shopping worshippers of the VIP class! Right next to the Duomo Church in Milan, visitors can find the famous Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle II. It’s a complex of arched corridors and shops, a 3-storrey roof-covered gallery built in the 18th century. The gallery is built in the shape of a cross and her entrance from the Duomo gallery leaves the impression of an Arch of Triumph! The most famous brands in the world have a boutique in this gallery. Clothes, shoes, souvenirs, bags, gourmet proposals and a lot more at our disposal! After all, we are in Milan, the world capital of fashion and elegance! Besides the boutiques, there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the gallery as well. Prices are not at all affordable, but after a shopping spree in the gallery, what better than enjoy an original cappuccino and a selected ice cream, while checking out what you have bought? Although the Galleria was crowded I spent many hours window shopping and walking up and down the gallery, taking lots and lots of pictures to remember this unique place. So many people from so many different countries are walking up and down. Some of them part of a tourist groups, others alone. Besides the architecture and the famous brand boutiques found there, what truly impressed me was the roof of the gallery! I was not the only one I guess as I noticed many more tourists taking pictures of it. Outside the Galleria some street artists presented their skills.
