This train ride from Myrdal to Bergen is a sensory overload. The Bergen Railway takes you through a scenic journey along the fjords stopping at small nordic towns at the base of unbelievable mountains. There is an unbeatable view around every corner. I suggest honestly riding it twice. The first time sit back try to take it in and on your way back you can go for pictures. Because honestly trying to take pictures while enjoying the view is impossible. There is just too much to see and you don't want to be messing with a camera. The Flåm train itself would bring Wes Anderson to tears, it is so gorgeous. Flamsbana corresponds with the trains on the Oslo - Bergen line so people who aren't trying to get to Bergen should still take the train to the first stop if only to turn around. When I did the journey I went from Oslo to Bergen stretched out over 4 days stopping and staying in small towns along the way. I absolutely suggest this! Sitting on the train isn't enough, you have to get outside and visit these towns.
