Fishermen pull into the harbor to unload their catch at this relatively new market in Gustavia. First grab a coffee and a croissant, and then wander past piles of fish and seafood heaped high on ice: wahoo, mahimahi, tuna, octopus and conch. Outside, you can watch tarpons gorging themselves as fishermen throw their unwanted extras overboard into the harbor. The market opens at 6:30 a.m.; those who come early get their pick of the day's catch. There's also a fish market in Lorient, which opens later in the morning.
