Shake the snow off your skis, stamp your boots a couple of times and be transported to a bit of history and some of the area’s best pizzas. Unless, of course, you've made Blue Mountain Village a summer getaway—then go for a patio table or an inside spot near the overhead doors that open up in nice weather.
Perfect name for this place, too—it really looks like an old firehall, with its fire engine-red doors and a tower that you'd swear has one of those sliding-down poles.
As much inside as out on the hills—fire ladders hang overhead, fire-fighting implements decorate the bare brick walls; there are even fire hydrant beer dispensers.
It has a varied menu sure to suit the whole family, but you have to try the pizza. Made from scratch, there are 19 pizzas on the menu, or you can build your own.
