Flying Safari Takes You to Kenya's Top Luxury Safari Camps
Mantis has launched the ultimate flying journey, stopping at three of Kenya’s finest safari camps.
The safari starts off at the recently reconstructed Finch Hattons in Tsavo West National Park. The camp offers guests stunning views from the 17 luxury suites, which fuse modern design with rustic charm reminiscent of the golden days of safari. Game drives, sundowners, guided bush walks and cultural visits with the Maasai are all ways guests can soak in the incredible wildlife and surrounding landscape.
Guests then fly by private air charter to Mahali Mzuri, located in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy on the northern edge of Kenya's Maasai Mara National Park. Twelve tents are perched on a ridge overlooking the valley below, each with a distinctive design adapted to the local climate and terrain. Guests can expect exciting game drives, delicious meals and a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
The journey continues on to Segera, the last safari camp, at the heart of the Laikipia Plateau. At Segera, one of the game drives leads to the SATUBO women's beading group – an initiative that has transformed the age-old tradition of beading into a financially viable enterprise. Guests can learn how to make beaded products and have the option to purchase handmade traditional jewelry.
Starting at $12,000 per person for a six-night stay, the Flying Safari includes full board accommodations, most drinks, all domestic flights, all land transfers, all games drives and all park entry fees.
