Buy Antiques, Artisanal Crafts & Alfajores at Córdoba's Weekend Feria
The neighborhood, or barrio, of Güemes, is a former immigrant hub known for its antique shops. Today, it is a bohemian destination on Saturday and Sunday evenings, when vendors set up an artisanal market in the streets. You can find anything old, from vintage LPs to lamps to combat boots, as well as newly-made handicrafts such as intricately-crafted jewelry, maté cups and bombillas (straws), paintings, leather goods and knitwear. Make sure to snack on a dulce de leche-filled alfajor, or sandwich cookie, which you can buy from one of the many bakers peddling goodies. Afterwards, hit up a quirky resto-bar nearby like Don't Worry or Apartamento for food and a pisco sour.
