We're currently on a quest to find the best falafel in Montreal. The falafel we had at Falafel Avenue in downtown Montreal near McGill University is a definite contender.
Falafel Avenue is a brightly lit, pleasant spot where you order from the counter and then eat at one of the small tables alongside the window or take it to go. We sampled all four types of falafel: traditional, with herbs, with roasted red and yellow peppers, and with a small slice of mozzarella in the center. All were fresh made, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and not greasy. We liked all four but our favorites were the traditional and the roasted red and yellow peppers.
