Kenya Tanzania Migration Safari
The Wildebeest migration in Kenya and Tanzania is a mas movement of ungulates from the Serengeti ecosystem in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of greener pastures. The Wildebeest come across many obstacles like the Mara river and numerous predators like the Lions, Wild dogs, hyenas, Cheetahs and Leopards. The Mara river also acts as a hurdle where thousands of wildebeests die trying to cross the Mara river. Across the plains thousands of them die from predator attacks and diseases. Vultures are always close by to clean up the carcases and bones from the dying animals. the animals will then return to Serengeti Tanzania where will migrate south to Lake Ndutu for calving before the cycle starts again.
