This little local indie theater is in the beautiful Gaslight District of Ludlow. The theater is small and cozy and shows a lot of indie and foreign films you wouldn't normally find at the big box-office theaters (win!). I also love the fact that they host special film nights of old-school classics. The Art Deco flashing marquee on the outside of the building is just as charming as the inside, with its retro-style signage & concession area.
Next door you can find a coffee shop called Sitwell's which has an artsy/eclectic vibe very appropriate for the area. There is also another artsy/hippie-esque coffee shop across the street called Om Cafe which is also great. You can order a quick bite at both these locations or settle for Indian food instead—there are three Indian restaurants and an Indian grocery shop all within walking distance of the theater.
