I travel for food. For those like me looking for a delicious, cheap meal in Siem Reap, head to Genevieve's.
Genevieve's is a great little foreign-owned restaurant near the night market by pub street. It can get busy so if you're a larger party you can make reservations.
Service is very friendly. The owner is a very nice Australian man that can be seen checking in on all his patrons.
Although foreign owned, Genevieve's serves great local, Khmer food. The beef lok lak was absolutely amazing: tender, flavorful, and delicious! The fish amok was also quite good, but didn't particularly standout against other amok in Siem Reap. Enjoy your meal with some cheap, cold beer!
