Eating in Tulum's Pueblo is a more inexpensive way to load up on calories and enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine.
El Camello Jr, is a seafood restaurant located at the far south end of the main highway that runs through Tulum. It is a decent bike ride from the beach area in Tulum but you'll be glad you worked up an appetite.
It's located right next door to a fish market and you can see the waiters going next store to get fried fish and fresh fish for some of their dishes.
Their specialties include the Pulpo(octopus), the Ceviche, and Pescado Frito(fried fish). Most items on the menu can be cooked in several ways.
No question I'm going back here....with a huge appetite in tow!
