I stepped on to this chalk-colored diminutive launch that was heading towards the historical Mayan Salt Canals, but we halted in order to admire the extravagant flamingos as they fed in their natural habitat. I was informed that the Sian Ka'an Biosphere was the most populous colony of these magnificent fragile, pink, long-legged creatures. This photograph displays perfectly the image imprinted in my brain when I reminisce about the liberated Flamingos stretching their enormous wings ready to venture off to another escapade.
