A New Perspective of the Duomo of Milano
No visit to Milan is complete without a visit to the Duomo, the fifth largest cathedral in the world and Milan's most famous structure. Visitors can take pictures in its piazza, explore the inside for free and even come for Sunday masses – but there's another way to get to know the Duomo. Climb to the terrace and explore the architecture, gargoyles and birds-eye-view of the city, stepping into the perspective of the stone saints that look out over Milan, a city they've guarded for centuries. Pay 6 euro to climb the 250 stairs to the top or 12 to take the elevator and give yourself time to truly appreciate the perspective.
