Traditional Ingredients, Great Cooking
As a general rule, I try to avoid the restaurants in Polanco neighborhood. They tend to be pricey and rarely live up to their fame. The flagship Dulcinea is one of the notable exceptions. Run by chefs Lucy, Leopoldo and Fabián Acuña, and one of three Dulcinea restaurants in the city, it offers typical Mexican food, or rather Mexican ingredients put together with a modern technique. Simply delicious! Be sure to try their tortilla soup and the Pescado Blanco del Golfo (photo).
