Dubai Creek

The waterway known as Dubai Creek, a crucial part of the city's history, has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All day, the wooden boats called dhows take visitors on tours that leave the Dubai Marina and canal and go past the Palm Islands before entering the creek. On evening dinner cruises, passengers dine on Arabic, Indian or international buffet dishes while listening to music performed on the oud, a string instrument, and watching traditional robed dancers or (less-robed) belly dancers.
