Ain't Nothing Like 'em Nowhere
There certainly are a lot of great 'cue joints around the city, but this place was one of the firsts. It's the epitome of old school: no-frills, simple, and classic. They have some new menu offerings to "keep up with the times" I suppose, but people go here for the ribs + white bread with a side of slaw, potato salad, or baked beans. Don't let the fact that they've franchised out deter you; this Birmingham institution is just as good as its grandfather restaurant in Tuscaloosa.
