Dragon’s Back Hike

A rocky spine runs through the center of Hong Kong Island, and there are some 50 kilometers (31 miles) of hiking trails along it, with stunning panoramas of the island and the sea all along the way. To combine some exercise with sightseeing, follow the five-kilometer (three-mile) section called Dragon's Back along the undulating ridge on the southern end of the island, between Wan Cham Shan and Shek O Peak. The entrance to the hike is on Shek O Road near To Tei Wan village. The trek should take about 90 minutes.
