If you're looking for a great brunch spot in the LES, Dinner on Ludlow certainly delivers.
The vibe inside is a cozy chic, with gothic fixtures and several chandeliers hanging above. The giant floor to ceiling windows along two of the walls allow for great people watching- we witnessed a spectacular couple fight and a parade of eclectic lower east side outfits. As a bonus, the windows open up on nice days so you can enjoy all the benefits of outdoor seating from the comfort of inside.
As for the food, my dining companion & I, as well as several tables around us, were loving chef John Keller's cornflake encrusted french toast with fresh berries atop a dulce de leche syrup. The food was delicious & the bellinis & bloody marys- a staple of any NYC brunch spot, were great as well. Just when we thought we couldn't fit another bite, our super attentive server tempted us into dessert. Out came the sugar and spice donuts with chocolate sauce and a dulce de leche ice cream and we miraculously found more room.
We left this place stuffed & satisfied, thinking we would have to come back and check out their dinner menu, as well as the rooftop club.
