Dilli Haat is an outdoor bazaar curated by the Indian Government. Select artisans from all over India are selected through a lottery for the chance to sell their textiles, handicrafts and art in New Delhi. Since you are buying directly from the producers the prices are much lower than you would pay elsewhere. Also, since the sellers are vetted by the Government you can feel somewhat assured that you are receiving quality goods. An added bonus is that there are also food vendors from throughout India selling regional specialties. The fried Momos really hit the spot after hours of shopping.
