Devil's Pool, Victoria Falls
Want to talk about the adventure of a lifetime? And one that's frankly so crazy it's unbelievable that it exists? Well, during the Zambezi River's dry season (December to April) there's a natural infinity pool on Victoria Falls where tourists can sit as the Falls rush over them. Who knows what crazy person found this, but this thrilling adventure is one for the books that only the gnarliest of adventure travelers should seek out (and chronicle on Instagram). The swim to the infinity pool is a bit aggressive and especially scary when coupled with the fact that alligators and hippos also occupy the river, but the feeling of sitting on the edge of a waterfall is priceless. If you're an especially brave traveler, ask the guides to hold your ankles as you hang over the edge. They'll even snap a picture for you. I categorize this as one of the most daring adventures in the world.
