Coming from the Philadelphia area, there's one thing I know and that's Italian food. Always on the lookout, I found this gem in Nagasaki, Japan. The food was so good, so authentic, it brought tears to my eyes. The chef/owner told me he has never been anywhere outside of Nagasaki. Where he learned to cook Italian I'll never know. But he definitely knows al dente pasta, excellent sauce (gravy for you locals), and where oh where he got that warm Italian bread - wow. I brought all my friends here to Galliano and they all agreed. It became our favorite for the many weeks we spent around the Dejima wharf of Nagasaki.
