David’s tea is an unexpected gem—even if it is a Canadian chain, I’d rank it among my favorites. Unlike predictably cluttered tearooms, David’s color-coded canisters, high ceilings and white walls make the shop modern. With genuine enthusiasm and a fair amount of knowledge, the staff will methodically help you find the perfect tea. While it’s not a cozy place to curl up with a cup, it’s great for shopping and developing your tastes. I’d suggest you try their agave sticks, smell at least three teas and pick up a present.
