Cristo Redentor Square

Right in front of the piers, Cristo Redentor Square is a sprawling pavilion lined with food stalls. At a huge flea market next door, you can browse through a wide selection of masks, paintings, ceramics and woodwork, all made by the region’s indigenous people. At festival time, the entire town becomes an artisans’ market.
