With the centuries-old Royal Naval Dockyards as a backdrop, the flyboarders at Coconut Rockets make for a surprising sight—soaring above the water and plunging beneath the sea, atop jets of water from the flyboards. The flyboard was first introduced to the public in 2012 and arrived in Bermuda a year later. Coconut Rockets’ flight training will soon have you soaring 35 feet above the surface of the sea. “It’s an exhilarating feeling,” says Mike. “You have thousands of gallons of water shooting out of your feet. There’s an incredible sense of freedom as you actually fly through the air—it’s an adrenaline pumping experience.”
