Located near the Central Business District, Gardens By The Bay is a collection of two conservatories and other gardens that cost over $1 billion (Singapore Dollars) to build.
The Cloud Forest conservatory was the highlight in Gardens By The Bay. The conservatory aims to replicate the climate in tropical mountain regions and consists of different levels. Visitors are first greeted by a large indoor waterfall, before proceeding on to the “Cloud Mountain”, which is the highest level (6th floor) of the conservatory. After marvelling at the all glass enclosure, visitors descend down the peak via a circular path while enjoying the plant exhibits, impressive architecture and breathtaking views of the city in airconditioned comfort.
Definitely worth a visit - it is an impressive conservatory like no other!
