And what did we eat at The Q, the downhome but culinarily upscale barbecue shack near Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg? Delicious pulled pork, onion rings, and cole slaw (not shown), and this generous serving of super tender brisket with sides of sweet baked beans and mac'n'cheese. Going back someday for sure--for ribs, chicken, blackened fish, boar bacon burger, or if feeling veggie, the portobello mushroom sandwich. The place is the pet project of David LaMonica, who also owns the deservedly acclaimed Café Beaujolais in Mendocino.
