Toronto’s Biggest Gay Pride Yet - World Pride, 2014
The diverse metropolis has been no stranger to its thriving LGBT community, with its Pride Weeks growing more every year. This year, Toronto is host to World Pride, with its festivities more lavish than in previous Pride renditions. A “Grand Pride” wedding is to take place at Casa Loma, with up to 200 same-sex couples tying the knot.
Expect some spectacular performances from Estelle, Dragonette, CeCe Peniston, The Nylons, as well as the Canadian pop duo — and gay twin siblings — Tegan and Sarah. The event’s site enables an interactive experience to choose from a number of different events whether it’s the big parade or family-friendly activities.
