Every fourth of July weekend here in Denver, one of the biggest art events heads to the streets of Cherry Creek North. Going strong since 1991, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival now boasts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, and is a family fun outing designed to get every member of the family interested in the arts. As you roam through the streets, you'll duck into tents to meet artists from all over the country. Each tent brings new possibilities, and in more than one instance you'll be tempted to bring out your wallet and invest in something memorable. Like a beautiful handcrafted necklace made from glass. Or a table made from iron and wood. Each year brings new opportunities and new chances to add elegant pieces to your collection. And if you want to take a break from the art work, head to one of the many shops that line the street. Or duck into one of the culinary booths and check out a cooking class. Truly a "don't miss" event if you're in the Mile High city over the Fourth of July.
