Baseball by the Ashley River
The Joseph P. Riley Park, known to locals as the "Joe," is named after Charleston's beloved long-term Mayor Riley, who served from 1975 through to the start of 2016. The Joe is home of Charleston's MLB team, the Riverdogs, and hosts college baseball games during the year. The park sits just a short distance from the Ashley River, which means visitors can take in some great marsh views from the stadium. Visit DogWorld, one of the park's vendors, for a hot dog topped with Korean kimchi and Lowcountry-style collard greens.
