Though its close proximity to Beijing’s tony diplomatic enclave and various international companies make it a favorite amongst the global business set, the hotel is also within easy strolling distance of many local cultural gems. They include the very photogenic Laitai Flower Market, which hawks a kaleidoscopic collection of blooms by the bucket, and Chaoyang Park, an urban oasis that teems with bicyclists and kite-flyers during the warmer months. It’s also just a ten-minute drive to reach the buzzy 798 Arts District, a former factory hub turned gallery zone, and the Chaoyang Theater, where a legendary acrobatics show steals the scene on a nightly basis.
