surround yourself with butterflies at changi airport.
Changi International Airport has been continuously ranked among the top three in the world for good reason. For those with long layovers/transfers, Changi not only has many places for you sleep, but it has four gardens to sit and relax in. Among those is Changi's Butterfly Garden in Terminal 3.
Filled with butterflies, you can not only watch the butterflies flit from flower to flower, you can also catch them emerging from cocoons (which I did!).
According to a poster outside the garden, there are over 45 species of butterflies that inhabit the garden. So be sure to look for the many different types.
