Cesky Krumlov

Wishing you could wake up to this river scene everyday
A photo taken from the bridge crossing the river to enter the town. Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I visited in October 2012. This town was beautiful in its entirety, clean and the people extremely friendly and helpful. While I had a language barrier , I made my way through the town quite easily. It was a little cool but the mulled wine sold at vendor's stalls warmed everyone. I was introduced to the marionette in one of the toy stores. Giuseppe is now hanging in my cottage in Nova Scotia. All toys were handmade and delivered with a story. Be prepared for a very healthy hike up the hills to the State Castle, in fact be prepared for a walk up many stairs in the castle. A picture perfect city! We actually had trout from this river for lunch, it was delicious.
