One of the best things to do towards the end of your trip is to head over to the somewhat quieter "suburbs" of Pudong to reflect upon your time in what is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Shanghai against the breezes of beautiful Century Park.
Pedestrian lanes and a running track make the 6km run around the perimeter of the park one of the best running routes in Shanghai. The pretty willow trees and scenery inside the park at pit stops (paddle boats and all), keep you going.
Small bridges during the run will also let you pause for a break as the sun sets over stunning Shanghai. You may even spot some of the city's famous supertalls in the distance.
