When I'm on a food tour with my clients, this shop is a MUST. I tell them it's been open for over 160 years, and then I take them to the very bottom of the shop to show them the wood oven where they still roast nuts today, but dates back from 1851. Attention! You mustn't touch it without permission: but if the shop attendants aren't busy and you ask, they'll love to show it to you! And if that day they have been roasting, you might even get a free sample of warm hazelnuts or almonds, freshly roasted that morning!
