The Calusa were a tribe of Native Americans who lived on Florida's southwest coast and sustained themselves with fishing instead of agriculture. Named for this group, the Calusa Queen is a tour boat operated by a captain who's a U.S. Coast Guard master mariner, naturalist, and historian.
Lunch and sunset cruises are available. You can also opt for a nature-focused tour that stops at two rookeries. Common wildlife spottings include alligators, manatees, dolphins, and a variety of birds such as pelicans.
