I love Cafeen for so many reasons, but let's start with the most obvious: the food. The ingredients are always fresh and the portions just right, so you leave your breakfast or lunch feeling energized. For an indulgent, sweet treat, I recommend ordering the flavored lattes or the ice cream shakes.
The decor is a bit shabby chic (in a more charming way) with vintage coca cola signs, scattered cooking utensils, and a gumball machine in the corner of the room. From the front porch, there's a view of Devil's Peak and the backside of Table Mountain, making this one of my favorite places to relax and catch up with my girlfriends over brunch. They don't seem to mind if you linger solo with your laptop and take advantage of their free wifi, either. This cafe is located down a quiet side street in Harfield Village, so you probably won't run into other tourists here.
