Galbi is the Korean word for beef grilled on the bone, one of the most popular menu items in the entire nation. Seoul is no exception, and one of the best restaurants of its kind is Byeokjae Galbi.
The restaurant serves only top quality Hanu (Korean cattle) beef, from chilled out cows that listen to classical music. The chef, who has been working at the restaurant for 27 years, has created a special diamond cut on the beef served there, making it extra succulent. Add to that the chef’s secret sauce, and a parade of side dishes intended to be perfectly nutritionally balanced, to round out the meal.
