If you find yourself in the Philippines over the Holidays then you must try bibingka, a cake like dessert made of rice flour with coconut milk and topped with butter and sugar, and also try puto bumbong, a purple colored dessert made of glutinous rice topped with sugar, butter toasted sesame seeds and shredded coconuts. These amazing deserts are a traditional holiday treat so street venders only offer them December thru January.
