Budva and Sveti Stefan
Built on a peninsula on the Dalmatian coast, the former Greek and Roman colony of Budva lies just 23 kilometer south of Kotor. Fortified in medieval times, today its lively maze of stone streets brims with shops, cafés and restaurants. Scenic boat tours from its Old Town cruise past another local gem: the tiny island of Sveti Stefan. Connected to the mainland by a causeway, this impossibly picturesque fishing village is now the exclusive (and private) Aman Sveti Stefan resort.
