Bryggebroen Bridge

Copenhagen is for Lovers
Spanning the inner Copenhagen harbour between two quays, Islands and Kalvebod, Bryggebroen (literally "Quay Bridge") is a 620 ft long pedestrian and cyclist only crossing that opened in 2006. Like the famous Pont Des Arts bridge in Paris, locals and tourists have taken to affixing engraved padlocks to the steel cable railing to symbolize eternal love. There are efforts underway in some cities to eliminate the love locks from the bridges due to structural and aesthetic concerns. Rather than locks, romantic types are encouraged to commemorate the moment...with a selfie.
