Birthday weekend in OC. Coming back from the beach in Palos Verdes my brother took me to what he said were the best spring rolls I would ever try. I was a little skeptic. But... This is real vietnamese food like I have never had in my life. The spring rolls, we ordered sausage and shrimp ones, were just the beginning. Forget the sweet chilli dipping sauce, or peanut sauce you may have tried anywhere else. This is warm, smooth, right amount of spices. Then came the shrimp rice cups (a few left visible in photo), first time I tried these, crunchy bowls of seafood heaven. And the noodle soup, with fish balls, pork, toated peanuts, and some spice to it. Worth the detour from the beach!
