Big boats overtake tiny boat
We were sailing a rented catamaran in the Caribbean between various British Islands when these boats went racing by. Oh, that poor little boat. Cigarette boats are very popular and it was Sunday and there was a race. But it wasn't the speed that made the impression. It was the size difference of these boats that had us exclaiming, "Wow." We all agreed this picture captured the moment. You can almost feel the action. Every year they have this event along with various other races involving sailing vessels. We were near Bitter End and Dog Island. On the Caty Wampus catamaran, via Conch Charters out of Tortola. Great vacation but about 4 days too long. Go for a week to ten days. And don't forget your sense of humor. And share the boat with people you really like. We had a ball.
