Kombacha + s'mores in a jar = Dallas' best kept secret
Most Dallas residents consider the surrounding cities, such as Arlington and Forth Worth, as branches off of Dallas. It goes to say that there might be more hip and up and coming locations that are located in these little nooks and crannies right outside of Dallas, and not within it.
BREWED is one of those places. Located in Fort Worth, about 30 minutes away from Downtown Dallas, BREWED's outside modern architecture is not at all preparing you for what is yet to come once you step inside. Modern meets vintage which meets rugged here at BREWED. You can sit under a moose head, relax on the couch under a giant map of Texas while playing board games as you wait for a table, or seat yourself at the bar with friendly and knowledgeable barmen at your disposal.
The food is excellent (fries made in duck fat, my friends) and it is a must to save room for dessert. Try their s'mores in a mason jar but be prepared to share.
They brew their own kombacha on premises and as pictured, it can be purchased in a lovely growler. Unsure if your tastebuds can handle kombacha? No problem! Your waiter or waitress would be happy to give you a sample.
Tip: Their vegetarian options are limited but it is not impossible to please those with restricted diets.
