The name Bræðraborg—which means "Brother's House"—comes from the two brothers who opened up a watchmaker's shop here in 1907. Today the historic building hosts a cozy cafe that serves up healthy, nutritious, locally-sourced and delicious offerings, including freshly baked breads and cakes and homemade jams. The cafe also runs trips and hikes and sells takeaway lunch packs for hikers and adventurers.
