From the outside, Bar Bonci looks like any other charming bar. A lovely counter, bowls of candy on the counter, a smiling barrista. The glory is evident when you step through the bar, into the huge garden with the miraculous view. Overlooking the pastoral side of Spello, the space exudes tranquility. It's the perfect place to unwind with a jot of caffeine, or a spritz, or a glass of grappa. You can eat lunch here, or grab a pastry (I like the "nido" a round pastry with cream in the middle, it translates to "nest"), and linger.
