Last time my boyfriend and I were in D.C. we were trying to find a nice brunch spot. BlackSalt caught our eye and we liked that it was located in the outskirts of the city and therefore meant no lines for a table. It's still one of the best brunch experiences I've had to date! From the incredible pastry basket, the dainty plate of gravlax, and the scrumptious eggs pontchartrain.. Everything was terrific! We oohed and aahed at each bite. It's definitely worth another visit and next time we're back in D.C. we'd love to try them for dinner.
