Western Australia is known for it's beautiful coastline and the award winning wine region, but if you love hiking and are looking to explore other avenues, walk the Bibbulmun Track.
This is one of the world's great long distance walking trails. It goes for almost 1000 kilometers starting at Perth Hills and finishing in Australia’s South West. Some walk the track one section at a time and others complete it over a number of weeks.
Deciding which hike to take can be the very thing standing in the way of exploring the track. To make things more manageable, the trail can be accessed from different sections with many having road access, so that you can turn up, park your car and start hiking. My favorite day hike goes from Sullivan Rock toward Mt Cuthbert. The terrain is challenging and the views are spectacular.
